RECH GÉNÉTIQUE INT'L is a family owned enterprise. We are leaders in swine breeding selection since 1979. Our superior genetic qualification is obtained and validated with geneticist and technicians from the Quebec center of swine development (CDPQ) and also the Canadian center for swine improvement (CCSI). Our herd is therefore compared with the best of all registered livestock of the Canadian evaluation program. (100 000 pigs are evaluated each year from 153 herds.) With its performances, our genetic is among the best in Canada. All animals in production on our farm are negative to halothane gene. Our farm holds an important part of the Quebec selection by a constant presence of many boars at the Quebec center of swine insemination.

We were participating in numerous congresses and exhibits from which our expertise was rewarded for. We won several first prizes category such as first category prize of the Duroc race, for the best progeny index (IPG). We also won first place for best genetic improvements results for the Landrace race in all of Canada.

We use advanced technology equipment regarding all aspects of swine production. We work in partnership with other branches of production such as: artificial insemination, nutrition and feeding, farm equipments, meat transformation and environmental techniques.
